There are a lot of companies making wearables. Most are targeted at the general consumer. A lot of them are geared towards fitness. However, there are companies that are making wearables for very niche markets. One such company is Garmin. We all know Garmin for their work on GPS for our cars, but they do much more than car GPS units. They have a full line of smartwatches geared towards a variety of different domains. Their products range from Automotive, Sports & Fitness, Outdoor Recreation, Marine and Aviation. The last one is a very intriguing range of products. Particularly, they have a range of products for Government and Defence to Aviation such as instrumentation and aircraft GPS. One of the most unique Aviation products is the MARQ Aviator watch. It features Direct- to Key, Moving Maps, Course Needle, Weather reports, Flight plans, flight logging, smart notifications, Ox3 measurement, VO2, worldwide airport database to name a few. If I was a pilot, there is no dought I would be using this watch all the time. It costs 2k USD but it looks like it is worth every penny for pilots.
