The Department of Defence is looking for solutions to help testing and tracing of COVID-19 using wearables. The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) is looking for some help develop a wearable diagnostic capability for the early-symptomatic detection of COVID-19 infection.
How can wearables help in the detection of a virus? Well, physiological sensors on wearables could assist with tracking symptoms such have temperature, respiratory etc.
The device the Army is looking for needs to eventually be FSA approved.
