When augmented reality glasses Microsoft Hololens was released, one of the main features it had going for it was that it was completely wireless. This is something most VR headsets did not and still does not have. TP Cast is looking to change that with the release of a wireless transmitter for the HTC Vive VR headset.
With the TPCast, the HTC Vive user is no longer tethered to the pc that is driving the display system. This now really expands the capabilities of the VR headset and expands the footprint of usage.
TPCast for Vive is priced at US$300.
