Facebook is getting into the AR glasses business. They have partnered with the makers of Ray-Ban and is reported to be working on AR glasses for 2023 ish. The name of the project or perhaps the glasses itself ORION, is targeted to replace smartphones. How do users interact with the new ORION glasses? Facebook is working on their own voice assistant to be the main interface to the smart glasses. Welcome to the smart glasses game Facebook, Apple and Microsoft can’t wait to see what you have come up with. With Rayban on board, I am sure it will be one fashionable pair of smart glasses.
