BrigherSight has been keeping an eye on Apple’s recent rumours of the possibility of Apple augmented reality glasses. Well, here is the latest development: with its recent acquisition of  Akonia Holographics, Apple is definitely working on augmented reality glasses, according to Akonia’s website http://akoniaholographics.com/

Looks like Apple AR glasses will join the Apple family soon. The question is, will Tim Cook have enough to compete against the other major AR glasses on the market?

Based on an internal presentation that was provided to Apple employees, the timeline for Apple is 2022 for the release of AR Headset and 2023 for glasses. This will be a very interesting couple of years in the Apple family of products.
