Just when we were all getting use to 3d, we now have 4d. A company by the name of Vayyar just raised 109M for their 4d radar imaging technology. The interesting part of the technology is that it does it all without a camera. The radar sensors can work in any environmental condition. You can essentially see through walls using sensors that create 3d images based on radio waves.
Monitors real-time activity, with a high degree of privacy
Works in all lighting and weather conditions
Can be installed in a concealed location
Detects objects accurately and within a wide range
Customizable systems to accommodate different needs and requirements
This is impressive technology. I guess we all can be superman soon and see through walls. This could be very applicable to first responders that need to do indoor tracking of who is in a house/building etc.
